You may use Dark Eye only for lawful purposes for which you have appropriate authorization — for example authorized security research, corporate exposure assessment of your own organization or clients, lawful investigations by qualified professionals, and threat intelligence. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have a valid lawful basis and authorization for every investigation.
2. Compliance with law
You must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including data protection, privacy, surveillance and computer-misuse laws in every relevant jurisdiction. Where required, obtain the necessary legal process, consent or mandate before processing data about an individual.
3. Prohibited uses
- Stalking, harassment, intimidation, doxxing or facilitating violence against any person.
- Unlawful surveillance or monitoring without authorization or legal basis.
- Identity theft, fraud, extortion or any other criminal activity.
- Discrimination against individuals or groups on protected grounds.
- Reselling, redistributing or scraping the Service or its data in violation of these terms.
- Any use that infringes the rights of others or violates applicable law.
4. Data handling
Treat all Investigation Data as sensitive. Limit access to authorized personnel, retain it only as long as necessary for your lawful purpose, and secure it appropriately.
5. Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations and suspend or terminate access for any breach of this Policy, and may report unlawful activity to the relevant authorities.
